Did Hugh Jackman Break a WWE Wrestler's Jaw?!

You know, it's entirely possible that Wolverine doesn't know his own strength. In an effort to promote his upcoming film Real Steel, Hugh Jackman appeared on WWE Raw on Monday night, in an appeal to the movie's main demographic. But the actor actually ended up being in the thick of the fight after experiencing a little heckling from one of the WWE stars. Pro-wrestler, Dolph Ziggler, kept purposefully calling Jackman "Batman," in an attempt to get under the X-Men star's skin -- and it worked. Showing the crowd that Wolverine does it better, he gave Ziggler a powerful right hook that knocked him down. Naturally, everyone assumed this was a staged performance (and it certainly was), but it appeared like an actual injury may not have been so fake.

In fact, Ziggler went so far as to claim that he got an MRI after the incident and confirmed that there was a hairline fracture in his jaw. He even tweeted about it, saying, "Hairline mandibular fracture. Guess I'll put my chipotle in a blender for a few weeks, its not ballet." And even later on he added, "MRI scheduled for 1 pm…..possible fractured jaw #thanksBatman." But is it true? Did Jackman really break his jaw in this stunt gone awry? Check out the footage and see what you think:

It turns out the answer is...nope! It was indeed all just an act. A source confessed that Ziggler actually took the storyline into his own hands and that he is "fine" with no injuries of any kind. Except maybe a bruised ego at this point. So have no fear, wrestler fans -- Jackman is just as lovable as ever and would never purposefully harm anyone. But if it ever did come down to it, my bets would be on Wolverine!
