ellen degeneresAmerica's funniest comedian and daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was treated for chest pains on Monday at the Burbank, Calif., studio where she tapes her show. But have no fear, Ellen is on the mend and doing just fine. Recalling the health scare to her television audience on Monday, she revealed that she had felt "tightness and heaviness" in her chest Sunday, but waited until Monday morning to call paramedics. Of course, leave it to Ellen to turn the whole matter into a comedic act. DeGeneres joked, "The paramedics were strippers that I had called. That's how the rumors got started. I woke up in the middle of the night….[feeling] like something was heavy on my chest and it was a cat, so I moved it. I still felt the tightness and heaviness, so there was another cat under that cat. There were two cats on my chest." But on a more serious note, she thanked the medical team that came to her aid, saying, "I want to say thank you to all the paramedics and the nurses who showed up...I appreciate it." So do we -- glad you're alright Ellen! - US

As you all know, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler called off their engagement in July, but it looks like after a summer apart the ex-pair may be looking to rekindle their romance. A source is claiming that the two of them are "working it out," adding, "They're not officially back together but they're definitely talking and figuring things out." The source goes on to say how they're "taking things slow" and "talking a lot," but with their busy schedules, they haven't gotten a chance to spend much time together. Perhaps Jay doesn't like how cozy the reality star is getting with her pro dance partner Mark Ballas, or maybe he's liking her dance moves/rocking body. Either way, Dancing With the Stars certainly seems to be working out in her favor. - People

Southwest Airlines has developed quite the reputation of discriminating against several Hollywood stars and yesterday was no exception. Actress Leisha Hailey and her girlfriend Nina Garduno were escorted off a Southwest plane on Monday for making out with each other. The L Word actress tweeted about the incident, saying, "I have been discriminated against by @SouthwestAir. Flt. attendant said that it was a 'family' airline and kissing was not ok." She later added, "This is an outrage. I demand a public apology by @SouthwestAir and a refund. Hate is not a family value. I will never fly this airline." Southwest responded, saying the couple's removal was the result of "several passenger complaints ... based solely on behavior and not gender." But unfortunately for the airline, everyone is aware of their discrimination pattern, so the real question is -- why do they hate celebrities so much? - NY Mag
