Simon Cowell is known for making blunt and sometimes brutal accusations. In fact, he's famous for it. But his rude comments extend far beyond his American Idol and X Factor contestants -- even his fellow celebrities are no longer safe from Simon's wrath. The British judge has now lashed out at Lady Gaga and called her "boring." Now, people call Gaga many things -- weird, kooky, talented, eccentric, manly -- but never boring. And the madness doesn't stop there. He also thinks the same thing about Beyonce and Katy Perry and accuses them of being "dull." These women? The singer whose unborn child already has a countless number of fans and the artist who recently matched Michael Jackson's record of having five number one hit singles from the same album? I think you're losing your touch, Simon.
So what is making him say all these ridiculously rude comments? Simon told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "If you only ever heard Lady Gaga, she's the most boring singer in the world. You've got to see her - you need TV." So he's saying they're talented if seen on television, but boring if it's just based on their voice. I'm still not understanding the point. He adds, "Same with Beyonce. Or Katy Perry. We're all about image. You have to have that X Factor." There it is! He's totally plugging his own show. He's implying that in order to have these artists' talent, then you have to possess a certain quality that can only be found on his show. So his show is the answer to everyone's problems. How convenient. It's a bold move, but he may want to think twice before bashing these lovely ladies again. They have a huge fan base and could easily convince their millions of followers to not watch his precious show. If he keeps this up, the show could end up getting X-terminated.
