Nobody has been able to stop talking about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson since 2008. When the Twilight movies hit theaters, kids and adults couldn't get enough of RPatz's dashing good looks and Kristen's....well, I'm honestly not sure what they see in her but let's go with courage in the face of vampire danger. The point is, their cinematic love story made us want them to become a real life couple. But these celebs never discuss their relationships publicly...at least until now.
We've suspected it for years, but only recently did Kristen finally admit that she and Rob are a full-fledged couple. Well, kinda. It was a little bit like pulling teeth and she didn't really mean to say anything, but we'll take what we can get from these two. During her photo shoot for the November issue of British GQ magazine, the actress commented she hoped to explore more of the UK while filming Snow White and The Huntsman, "because my boyfriend is English." Oh, really?!?! But when the writer asked Stewart to clarify the English boyfriend comment, she wasn't as eager to open her mouth and coyly replied, "I never would have said that if I knew you were interviewing me."
But Stewart is smart enough to realize her relationship status was never much of a secret in the first place, saying, "So much of my life is so easily Googled. I mean, it's like, 'Come on guys, it's so obvious!'" Regarding her ties with Rob, the starlet added, "I don't think you realize what a big deal it is for people. Well, it is a big deal. They would be 'Oh. My. God.' There would also be still a 50/50 split. Some people would still be, 'See, told you they're not together.'" Those people are probably just in denial because they want Edward Cullen all to themselves...not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything. Don't expect Kristen to open up much more about her dreamy beau in the future though, because even though she let this detail of her life slip, she remains a very private person. She said, "I'm selfish. I'm like, 'That's mine!' And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It's a funny little game to play and it's a slippery slope. I always say to myself I'm never going to give anything away because there's never any point or benefit for me."
So there you have it. If you had any doubts before, you can rest easy tonight knowing this romance exists both on and off screen. I'm actually pretty surprised KStew opened up as much as she did during this interview, since she usually acts like she's above it all. But when you're in the spotlight for so long and the paparazzi follow you around like lost puppies, then I guess there's only so much you can do before the truth comes out one way or another.
