Though Kristin Davis has been in numerous relationships (reportedly with actors such as Alec Baldwin, Liev Schreiber and Jeff Goldblum), for whatever reason she has never married anyone. And while she's always known she'd wanted a family, she was conscious of how difficult the job of raising children would be without a partner. She told Access Hollywood in May in 2010, "You obviously have to think it through. Best case scenario, you're obviously raising it with a father. It does give me pause to think about doing it alone. I feel like it's a really hard job." But in the end, Davis decided against letting her fear take over her life and went ahead and became the single parent of a baby girl she adopted two months ago. The Sex and the City actress confirmed the news to People Magazine herself, explaining "This is something I have wanted for a very long time. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed." The new mom named her daughter Gemma Rose and no other details on the adoption are currently available. Congratulations to Davis on the adoption, and for having the courage to do it alone.
