The Daily Shuffle: Jessica Simpson Wants $500,000 To Confirm Her Pregnancy

jessica simpsonMost of the time when a celebrity gets pregnant, she doesn't go out of her way to make sure everyone knows about it. She usually just goes about her business until someone takes a picture of her leaning to get into a cab a certain way that reveals she has a baby bump. Then the actress waits a couple of days and finally makes a statement of "yes! I'm pregnant!" and doesn't really ask for anything in return because she's just too excited that she's going to be having a baby to bother to capitalize over something that women's bodies are meant to do. But that's not the way Jessica Simpson is going about her pregnancy! Instead, Page Six reports that she will confirm the news that she's expecting to the outlet that will pay her $500,000 for the announcement. So, who's going to put up the loot? On Tuesday we learned President Obama doesn't really like it when his daughters watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Michelle doesn't seem to mind as long as they recognize how the way that family lives is not representative of the way most people live, and is okay with it as long as her girls are able to compartmentalize it. But the Kardashian family is reportedly "flattered" that the Obamas watch their show, and conveniently choose to ignore the fact that the President of the United States would rather his family watch something else. - Us

Guiliana Rancic announced on Monday that she's battling breast cancer, and now her husband Bill Rancic is revealing more about her surgery to remove several lumps. He said this morning in an interview on the Today show, "She's a trooper, she pulled through it and was kind of relieved to get it over with and get the cancer out and is doing well at home... I'm adding nurse to my resume now." On Guiliana's prognosis, Bill said it remains good and "we're viewing this as a gift. It was caught very very early and we're going back to the doctor tomorrow. They had to remove a couple of lymph nodes and we're hoping we get a report tomorrow." - MSNBC
