Kim Kardashian's Fairytale Wedding to Kris Humphries (Part 1 and Part 2) may still take up 4 hours of space on our DVRs, but that doesn't make it too early for divorce rumors. With the ink barely dry on the wedding "thank you" notes, news is already circulating the newlyweds' may be on their way to "Splitsville." According to The Daily Mail, Kim's agent recently dropped Kris as a client and a source close to the couple revealed a separation is in the works, stating, "I don't know when they'll announce the split or why they got married in the first place but they are done." The source went on to say, "They are divorcing. They haven't been together for a month and while Kim has been staying in New York she has been staying in a hotel room which Kris has failed to visit." The online site also mentioned that the Kardashian's reality show has no plans to feature the couple together in upcoming episodes, which is odd since their relationship seemed to be the main focus for last season.
While this alone is grounds for suspicion, Life & Style caught up with a producer for Kourtney & Kim Take New York who told the tabloid that "Kim's mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn't a part of it. Any itineraries for the future don't include Kris very much. That's not a good sign." Page Six also reported that Kim was recently seen in a New York City office building, which is home to a New York divorce lawyer's office, although he denies meeting with her. I suppose all of this could be one big coincidence but when you put all of the pieces together, things seem a little weird.
I'm fully willing to believe a person can only tolerate the Kardashian family for a certain amount of time, so it's completely understandable if Kris is ready to call it quits. Plus, given the fact that Kim's agent dropped Kris as a client certainly suggests that not all is right in couple's paradise, although that could have less to do with their relationship and more to do with Kris's relationship with the agent (as he's not always the most likable guy). But I guess the part that resonates with me the most is that their relationship won't be featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. This family never misses a chance to rub their love lives in our faces, so why the sudden privacy Kim and Kris? It just doesn't make sense for such a fame-hoarding family.
It all sounds pretty suspicious to me, but then again this could all just be a ploy to keep making headlines (I really wouldn't put it past them). Plus Kim's still wearing that gigantic ring of hers). So I'm sure the Kardashians will keep us guessing for as long as possible, but I think we can all agree it's inevitable that this love story isn't going to have the happily ever after Kim was looking for.
