It's getting to be the end of the day, which means a bit of mindless procrastination is in order. So drop everything you're doing right now because Rebecca Black just released the music video to her latest single, Person Of Interest, and it definitely deserves your immediate attention. The video graces the internet only 24 hours after the singer unleashed the single, so she must have known a mere melody alone wasn't going to hold our interest for very long. (Un)surprisingly, it contains all the elements required to make a Rebecca Black video, like heart-shaped moons, corny lyrics, and two-faced stuffed bears. It still amazes me how Black manages to make falling in love look about as appealing as having the "sex talk" with your parents.
I get that teenage love is supposed to be sappy and overly romantical, but the only sentimental thing this video did for me was to rekindle my love for skee ball (I loved that game!). Granted, the words are of more value than those of "Friday," but it's still just way too peppy for me to enjoy. But unfortunately it's catchy enough that I undoubtedly will start humming the lyrics in the shower in a mid-sleep stupor, so listen at your own risk. Check out the music video below and see for yourself.
