Yet another allegation of violent behavior is being attributed to singer Chris Brown. In 2009, he plead guilty to physically assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna. Then in June 2012, Brown engaged in a nightclub brawl with singer Drake and his entourage, which involved the alleged throwing of glass bottles and resulted in eight people suffering injuries. And now, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is investigating Brown for allegedly assaulting another victim. While a press release from the Sheriff's Department doesn't name the victim, E! reports that the victim was Frank Ocean, and that the fight went down in the parking lot of a their music studio on Sunday.
According to the press release, police responded to a call alleging that six males were fighting at a location along Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, Calif., on Sunday. Upon arrival at the scene, witnesses said that Brown and the unnamed victim were fighting over a parking spot, and that Brown punched the victim. However, Brown and his crew had already allegedly fled from the scene before police got there. Now, police are investigating Brown for battery.
The Sheriff's Department may not have identified Ocean as the victim, but the singer-songwriter decided to break his own silence by taking to Twitter to talk about the alleged incident. "got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there," Ocean tweeted Sunday. "cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys."
