- A cheeky fan left actress Tracey Gold stunned when he called in to the
Larry King Live
show on CNN earlier this week and mocked her battle with eating disorder anorexia.
The TV star was taking part in a reunion for beloved TV sitcom
Growing Pains
on
King
's chat show when the insensitive fan called in.
The devotee said, "I just wanna say you look great. Did I hear you say somewhere you went on the South Beach Diet or was it Atkins (Diet)?"
Stunned Gold, who recently revealed all about her eating disorder nightmare, responded, "Well, first of all it was anorexia, which is a little different."
The fan appeared embarrassed, but made Gold, her castmates and
King
giggle when he added, "Hey, you look great, so whatever works, right?" before hanging up.
