The Simpsons
creator
Matt Groening
has confessed he's hurt British funnyman
Ricky Gervais
hasn't picked him for a part on hit comedy show,
Extras
.

Gervais
has failed to return
Groening
's favor and invite him to star in
Extras
.
And
Groening
, who admits he's a big fan of the series, can't help but feel snubbed.
He says, "He (
Gervais

"It would have been perfect for me because I worked as an extra when I first moved to Los Angeles in 1978."
Previous guests on the show include

beauty
Kate Winslet
