Teenage Model Dies in Car Blaze

HOLLYWOOD - Modeling sensation Heather Bratton's short career is over after she was killed in a car crash last month.
News of the American stunner's July 22 death was delayed while her agency bosses made sure all family members were notified of her death.
Bratton, 19, recently landed the cover of Italian Vogue and walked the runways for Gucci and Prada, among others.
She was killed when the hired car she was a passenger in broke down on the New Jersey Turnpike, and was struck by two vehicles. Bratton's car burst into flames and she was trapped inside. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement to news website TMZ.com from her Women Management agency, her handlers wrote, "Heather was a sweet, gentle and thoughtful girl who achieved a remarkable level of success during her first year modeling, which is a credit to her distinct beauty and spirit."
