HOLLYWOOD - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's brief marriage is officially over.
The couple's divorce was granted on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Judge Scott Gordon signed the decree hours after Spears and Federline's lawyers appeared in court to settle the ongoing divorce battle.
Spears' attorney Laura Wasser made a motion to keep the custody and child-support provisions secret, on grounds that making it public would be harmful to the couple's sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Judge Gordon granted that request, pending a hearing on Aug. 14.
But TMZ.com claims the divorce settlement will net Federline $35,000 a month.
