Far out. Jane Fonda stars in the upcoming film Peace, Love & Misunderstanding, which focuses around a family all trying to cope with the perils that come with a divorce. Fonda plays the carefree, hippie grandmother, who helps her recently divorced daughter (Catherine Keener) and two kids (Elizabeth Olsen and Nat Wolff) learn that happiness can still be found in a broken home.
Naturally, this involves in a little match-making on Fonda's part for both her daughter and grandchildren. (Is there anything that women can't do?) Better yet, it's in the form of Chace Crawford. Slapstick humor aside, it looks like Peace, Love & Misunderstanding deals with enough solid, relatable issues of family struggles to hold an interest to at least the female population. Think of it as the Hope Floats, but with a hippie Jane Fonda. You can't lose!
