A new trailer for the upcoming mash-up adaptation Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has hit the Web, and it features a patriotic Honest Abe who'll do anything to protect the nation and its people — including slaying the titular undead.
The new clip opens with the beloved 16th president of the United States (played by Benjamin Walker) giving a dutiful voice-over speech via voice-over while the camera swirls around the Lincoln Memorial and the White House — and then the "darkness" sets in, forcing Abe and Co. to do battle with the aforementioned vampires. Check out the trailer, and its previously unseen footage, below, and the Tim Burton-produced, Timur Bekmambetov-directed Vampire Hunter when it hits theaters June 22.
