The third film in the Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises, doesn't hit theaters for another two weeks, but a Dark Knight decked Formula 1 car is going to hit the track at this weekend's British Grand Prix. Assuming the dark clouds over the track in Northampton, England rise soon.
Racing fans were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Lotus Formula 1 car — which will be sporting the name of the Christopher Nolan-directed superhero film — but heavy rains put an early stop to Saturday's qualifying rounds. If Sunday's big race goes on as planned, be on the lookout for the E20 race car and drivers to be adorned with the Dark Knight logo, and special appearances to be made by the iconic Tumbler Batmobile and Bat-Pod dragster motorcycle, which fans will remember from the Dark Knight movie.
