Cannes Film Festival winner Samy Naceri is being sued by a Cannes, France, nightclub for allegedly starting a brawl on Saturday night.
The French Arab actor, who was one of the winners of the Best Actor prize for his performance in Days of Glory, has been accused of racially abusing the nightspot's security, after they refused him entry.
The VIP Room claims they banned the 44-year-old actor from entering because he was intoxicated.
Naceri left Cannes later than night and missed the award presentation ceremony on Sunday, but police have summoned him to return for questioning.
Naceri is no stranger to trouble--he has been convicted for violent behavior, drunk driving and speeding in the past six years.
