Finally, a new trailer for Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is out, and I'm shamelessly excited. There have been a whole slew of young adult novels being adapted to film lately (The Hunger Games, Beautiful Creatures, Ender's Game, etc.), so Mortal Instruments isn't exactly something new. But that does't stop me from grinning like a fool in anticipation of its release.
The movie is about Clary Fray (played by Lily Collins), a teenage girl who can see between worlds. She discovers that she is not a mundane (a human) but a Shadowhunter, and as such she must protect the world from demons. And even though it's set in New York, everyone is British. Does is sound a little bit cheesy? Maybe. Am I still totally pumped to see it when it hits theaters on August 21? You bet.
