Juno Temple's Sundance Winner 'Afternoon Delight' Offers Charming First Trailer

Jul 01, 2013 | 2:06pm EDT

If your marriage is on the rocks and your therapist is an emotionless Jane Lynch judging you harder than she does the cast of Glee,  then look no further than your neighborhood strip club to reignite your will to live!

This Cosmo-esque piece of advice is the jist of Afternoon Delight,  the upcoming dramedy that stars Kathryn Hahn, Juno Temple, and Josh Radnor. As Sundance's pick for best director, Jill Soloway brings us the story of a bored housewife (Hahn) looking to turn up the heat in her marriage. After a friend's advice leads her to a strip club, she boldly goes where no mother has gone before and hires one of the strippers (Temple) as their live-in nanny.

Since the movie's Sundance premiere, Hahn has received glowing reviews for her rare opportunity to play the leading lady, a step up from her usual comedic supporting role (who can forget Angelica, the bar maid with an obsessive crush on Topher Grace in Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!). Get ready to be teased by Hahn's performance in the first trailer and start gathering your dollar bills for Afternoon Delight's theatrical release on August 30.
