In a new trio of clips from her upcoming comedy flick Girl Most Likely, Kristen Wiig gets her flirt on with Darren Criss. Directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, the film plops Wiig onto the screen as Imogene, a woman who emerges from psychiatric care and moves back home with her troublesome mother, Zelda.
When Imogene arrives, there's some bedlam going down at Zelda's place: on top of her seedy boyfriend George Boosh (get it?), played by Matt Dillon, Imogene finds a scruffy but sexy tenant, Lee (Criss), occupying her old bedroom– and yeah, Imogene definitely has the hots for Lee.
In three new clips for the upcoming comedy, we get to see some steamy chemistry blossom between Wiig's Imogene and Criss' Lee. Screw the age gap, we really like Wiig all lovey-dovey for Criss – the duo works weirdly well together.
In this first clip, Annette Bening vents to Criss's character about her lover boy Boosh's disappearance... before discovering that her daughter Imogene finally got laid, which is quite a relief for this wild mama!
While partying it up at the bar, Imogene gets schooled by Lee on the ins and outs of drinking before hitting the dance floor, but it seems that our beloved comic has had a few too many drinks…
Lee barges in on Imogene mid-pee. Although Lee swears he didn't see any of Imogene's hidden gems, the run-in still elicits a feisty banter between the two.
Girl Most Likely will most likely leave you in laughter when it works its magic on the big screen July 19th.
