It's an exciting day for fans of The Fault in Our Stars. According to Entertainment Weekly, there have been two new casting announcements for the upcoming adaptation of the best-selling John Green novel. Nat Wolff and Laura Dern have both signed on to play supporting roles in the movie.
Wolff, who rose to fame in Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers Band, will be playing Isaac, a teenager who loses both of his eyes to cancer. Isaac plays a pivotol role in the movie as he brings his close friend Augustus Waters (played by Ansel Elgort) to the cancer support group where he meets Hazel Grace (Shailene Woodley). Dern will be playing Hazel's mother, EW reports.
With the cast almost complete, production on The Fault in Our Stars is set to begin next month in Pittsburgh. If the premise is any indication, it's going to be a quite a tearjerker. Bring on the waterworks.
