The only real way to talk to one of the actors of Twilight is to sit down with them. It's impossible to get anything significant out of them on the red carpet because they're scanning the crowd for suspicious people who have their faces tattooed on their chests. Can't blame 'em, either.
Our own Todd Gilchrist had the opportunity to present a few questions to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner when he sat down with them to talk about Eclipse. He asked what about how the characters' relationships with one another have advanced since the first movie, how the characters themselves have become easier for audiences to identify with, and what it's like to have this series as such a big part in each of the actors' careers.
Questions not asked: "Are you, Robert, dating her, Kristen?" Also, "How do you get those abs?" and "Does Jacob just need to let go?" aren't touched upon in the interviews. If you want those kind of questions answered, your best bet is to wait in line at the premiere tonight in Los Angeles. But you're already about three days late.
