Jordan to Direct 'Skippy Dies'

Neil JordanNeil Jordan will write and direct the feature version of Paul Murray’s novel Skippy Dies.

Screen Daily reports that Jordan will collaborate with regular producers Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen of London-based Number 9 Films. James Flynn of Littlewave Film Productions is also producing.

Per Screen, the story is billed as South Park-meets-Tom Brown’s School Days and follows the adventures of two unlikely roommates, Skippy and Ruprecht, at a public school in Ireland.
