Zach Galifianakis has been entertaining audiences long before The Hangover made him a household name. Starting with appearances in television shows like Boston Common and Tru Calling, he moved into features like Bubble Boy and Corky Romano at the turn of the decade before becoming the face of American comedy in 2009.
With one hit film (Dinner For Schmucks) already in the books for 2010, Zach is now promoting It's Kind Of A Funny Story (follow the link to read my review of the film), a new dramedy from Half Nelson directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. In it, he plays the emotionally guarded Bobby, a patient at a psychiactric ward who aids a troubled teenager find overcome a bout with depression.
I sat down with Mr. G during the New York press day for the film, where we talked politics, his future Oscar acceptance speech and how to make his smash hit web series Between Two Ferns a bit sexier. Check out my exclusive interview with Zach Galifianakis below and make sure to catch It's Kind Of A Funny Story in theaters on October 8th!
