Warner Brothers has canceled its plans to convert Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 into 3D, saying the studio has run out of time before the release date.
But, they did assure that the final installment of the series, to be released in July 2011, will be presented in 3D.
This is kind of amazing, considering that every movie nowadays seems to be in 3D. But, the studio did receive a bunch of criticism for cranking out a sloppy 3D version of Clash of the Titans earlier this year. Maybe they've learned their lesson.
Regardless, here's to a good movie and not having to wear those stupid glasses. Cheers!
