Emma Stone is on the verge of super-stardom. 2011 will be a huge year as she takes part in a smorgasbord of films (check out our list of the 11 busiest entertainers of 2011, in which she makes the grade) but the future is even brighter. Beyond movies like The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love lies a pair of Columbia Pictures tentpoles including 21 Jump Street and the much-publicized Spider-Man reboot and, according to Stone herself, Marc Webb's 2012 take on the web-slinger won't be her last appearance in the franchise.
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, Stone revealed that she's signed for multiple films in the rebooted film series. Of course her character, Gwen Stacy, is a tragic figure in Spidey's mythology (she perishes at the hands of the Green Goblin at the end of an iconic story arc from the original comics), but according to her statements it seems that Stacy might not bite the bullet anytime soon.
