Today in news that won't surprise you: Katherine Heigl has joined another romantic comedy.
The actress has replaced Halle Berry in the upcoming ensemble picture New Year's Eve as Jon Bon Jovi's significant other. For those who aren't aware, New Year's Eve is another Love Actually wannabe from director Garry Marshall, the man responsible for Valentine's Day who appears to be making it his life-goal to create an ensemble rom-com for every holiday (who's excited for Canadian Thanksgiving?!).
Anyway, New Year's Eve has quite the cast outside of Heigl and Bon Jovi. Get ready, *deep breath*, Robert De Niro, Sofia Vergara, Russell Peters, Hilary Swank, Ice Cube, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Abigail Breslin, Seth Meyers, Jessica Biel and Til Schweiger are all in line for the flick. Despite the cast, we're assuming the movie will probably suck. But hey, if there's anyone who can decide the "Is Hilary Swank hot" debate once and for all, it's Ice Cube, amirite?
