YES! Many have decried Judd Apatow for his female characters and how the fairer sex appears to be under-represented in his films that he either produces or directs. That should change with Bridesmaids, a new film from Freaks and Geeks creator Paul Feig with Apatow producing. Kristen Wiig is the Maid of Honor to Maya Rudolph’s bride and a merry group of bridesmaids that includes The Office’s Ellie Kemper and Rose Byrne. I’m not one that really believes Apatow is sexist but nevertheless this looks amazing.
