Stanley TucciBryan Singer's next film, Jack the Giant Killer, has found some of its key actors. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy and John Kassir are joining the flick, which is that one movie that plans to retell Jack and the Beanstalk by apparently turning into into an epic, Lord of the Rings-style film about fighting giants. Its latest script is by Christopher McQuarrie.

Reports are that Tucci will play the villain and advisor to the king, while Nighy and Kassir will team up to play Fallon, the two-headed leader of the giants. There's still no one attached for the lead role, but reports are that Singer has been testing actors since December and Nicholas Hoult is one of the front-runners. Regardless, this film still remains to be one of Hollywood's strangest -- albeit original -- takes on a fairy tale yet. After seeing this once it's released, we're fairly certain that children will never, ever want to bury a magic bean again.
