‘Men In Black III’s’ Production Delayed; Besieged By Aliens

Men in black 2Oh Men in Black III, you delightful little tease. You have kept us waiting for so long - it has been nine years since the first sequel, twelve since the original and the interim time has been one full of fraught. For a while, hope loomed on the horizon. But alas, a delay was called back in November for the entire production. And just when we thought things were going smoothly (they were set to continue production on the soon-to-be classic this month), production has once again been delayed. This time the shoot is scheduled to restart at the end March.

What could be the cause of the delay? Director Barry Sonnenfeld nearly had a heart attack during Men in Black II due to script issues and, what do you know? The script is once again a problem. While the official word is that they’re waiting for the perfect time to shoot the 1969 sequences (oh yeah, they go back in time in the third installment), the script keeps changing hands. Why they would greenlight a multi-million-dollar effects-heavy film without a solid script in place is beyond me. But they don’t pay me the big bucks to make decisions. They pay me cause I look good.

I know what could help this troubled set: MUSIC BREAK!
