There's not much known about the next installment of the James Bond franchise -- just that Daniel Craig will return as James Bond with his blond hair, blue eyes and looks-incredible-in-a-swimsuit body; Judi Dench will continue to be very British as M; and Sam Mendes will direct them both as they fight bad guys. But hey, this is James Bond we're talking about, one of the greatest characters of all-time! Any news is news, especially when it's regarding his lover -- who, we think, was just cast. Naomie Harris is rumored as 007's love interest for Bond 23.
Harris' first big role came in 28 Days Later, but she became more well-known after starring in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, as the scary-as-hell but somehow still sexy Tia Dalma. If she is indeed the next Bond girl, we'll go ahead and give this casting our stamp of approval, but be wary. Although EW confirmed the news, the initial report came out of the British tabloid News of the World.
Bond 23 hits theaters on October 26, 2012 in the UK and Ireland, and November 9 for the rest of us non-chaps.
