Charlie Sheen has found a job. Variety reports that the former Two and a Half Men star has signed on to play the lead in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III, which Roman Coppola, brother of Sofia and cousin of Nicolas Cage, is writing and directing. It's Sheen's first job since leaving the highly rated CBS sitcom, unless you count that shady "tour" he mounted, which, of course, none of us do.
According to Variety, Charlie Swan "follows a successful graphic designer whose fame, money and charm have made him irresistible to women. But when his girlfriend breaks up with him his life heads into a downward spiral." The unwieldy title promises ample quirkiness, possibly of the Wes Anderson strain, while the logline and casting of Sheen foretell potential meta mischief.
