Summit Snags Rights to 'Headhunters'

7848035.jpgSwedes aren't the only ones capable of penning cinema-friendly suspense novels. Deadline reports that Summit Entertainment has snapped up the English-language rights to Headhunters, the bestselling novel by Norwegian author Jo Nesbø. The book, about a corporate headhunter whose financial woes drive him to dabble in art theft, has already produced a hit film in Norway.

Headhunters is one of eight Nesbø novels centering on the adventures of headstrong detective Harry Hole, whose name will presumably be changed for the U.S. release.
