Teenage True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld is in talks to star in the futuristic sci-fi thriller Ender's Game.
The Best Supporting Actress nominee would nab the female lead in the film, from actor-turned-director Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and starring Hugo's Asa Butterfield, who has already signed up for Ender's Game.
The movie, which takes place 70 years from now, focuses on a military academy in space that prepares child soldiers for an imminent alien invasion. It's set for a 2013 release.
