Video: A Modern Spin on the 'Scarface' Trailer

I doubt anyone in 1983 thought the results of Al Pacino teaming up with auteur director Brian De Palma for Scarface would be anything less than fantastic, but few realized Pacino's psychotic interpretation of gangster Tony Montana would be one for the pop culture history books.

"Say hello to my little friend!" isn't just a movie quote—it's a legacy.

With Scarface returning to theaters once again on August 31 and hitting Blu-ray for the first time, September 6, the video gurus here at Hollywood.com decided to pay tribute to the wild crime movie with their own trailer re-edit. The movie, steeped in the flashiness of '80s Miami, gets a bit of an update in the new spot. Yes, the original music may have been more appropriate—but Montana's sadistic glee has never been as delightfully over-the-top as it is when set to Chumbawamba or Semisonic's "Closing Time."
