Laura prepon are you there chelsea jailAre You There Chelsea? (That's right, they dropped the Vodka bit.) But while the inspiration for the series, Chelsea Handler, is in the cast, she handed the duties of portraying her 20-something self over to Laura Prepon (That 70s Show). Being that we all loved her so much as Donna, the anti-girly-girl on That 70s Show, I was particularly excited to speak with Prepon and get her take on this far more debaucherous anti-girly-girl at the center of the brand new series.

Prepon gave me the down-low on the series and the life lessons - not lessons on the best way to drink an Irish Car Bomb, as I would have expected from a series that until recently had liquor in the title - that Chelsea encounters as she recovers from her first (and only) D.U.I. The series follows Handler's best-selling autobiography and finds Handler taking on the role of her born-again Christian, conservative sister.

Check out my chat with Prepon and be sure to tune into NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT tonight to see all the barfly antics yourself.

Plus, get a sneak peek at the pilot with the clips from Are You There, Chelsea? at the bottom of this post. Are you excited to watch Chelsea? Were you a big fan of Donna, like me? Let me know in the comments, or find me on Twitter! (@KelseaStahler)
