Adam Levine may have the moves like Jagger, but does he have the stomach to take on the other worldly? Reports are circulating that the Maroon 5 singer is in final negotiations to appear on FX’s newest thriller series, American Horror Story, for a temporary role in Season Two.
Of course, Levine is no stranger to the camera (having earned plenty of on-screen time while judging The Voice for almost two seasons), however, this will be his very first acting debut. The 33-year-old star will reportedly play a contemporary character and half of a couple called “The Lovers.” Any takers for the part of the other "lover," ladies?
And while the second season of AHS -- set to premiere on FX in October -- remains cloaked in secrecy, we do know that original cast members, (Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Lily Rabe) will all be returning to the show, but as entirely different characters. Co-creator Ryan Murphy also hinted that second season will be set in a "horror institution" somewhere along the East Coast.
Regardless of the lack of any character detail, seeing Levine in all his tattooed glory is just one more reason to look forward to the show's premiere come October.
