'The Simpsons': Homer's Ex-Lover Is a Pole-Dancing Couch?

Homer Simpson loves his family. He also loves food, television, bowling, impulsive career choices, and acts of violence. But he has one love that has not been explored to the same degree as these others: his love of the family couch.

This extends beyond mere appreciation for comfort. As you can see in The Simpsons' newest classic couch gag, a trippy treat created by animating genius Bill Plympton, Homer and his couch have long enjoyed one another in a fashion truly romantic. But when you add Homer's second love, wife Marge, into the equation, things become heart-breaking. Or whatever a couch's equivalent of a heart might be. Check it out below!
