Jimmy KimmelJimmy Kimmel appeared on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 on Monday night, continuing to ride the wave of momentum/controversy/criticism he created after emceeing Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner.

In addition to discussing his hit-and-miss zingers against the political (Barack Obama), entertainment (Kim Kardashian) and polit-ainment (Keith Olbermann) arenas, Kimmel revealed to Cooper the jokes that didn't make the cut. "I did cut in advance some jokes that I thought were offensive," Kimmel said. "To me they’re not offensive, but others told me that they might be offensive."

One example: "Rick Santorum is like the college roommate that wouldn’t leave you when your girlfriend came over, but secretly wanted you to do it in front of him."

Another "meh"-inducing shot at Obama? You betcha! "I happen to know why the president's ears are so big," Kimmel began. "It's to create the illusion that he's listening."

Kimmel went on to reveal one more gag (against New Jersey Governor Chris Christie) that justifiably didn't make the cut, while Cooper would later discuss the late-night host's recent explanation for Cooper's giggling fits: He's stoned! Check out both video clips below.
