Update: Sorry, Roshon and Melissa, but it's time to visit Jimmy Kimmel. By the night's end both of these contestants were sadly eliminated from the competition. I know I predicted this would happen, but that didn't make it any easier to watch. It's probably the one time in my life where I don't enjoy being right. We'll miss you both!
Earlier: This has proved to be quite the season for Dancing With the Stars. Not only have these contestants possessed raw, genuine talent on the dance floor, but they also thrive on any and all challenges that come their way. From Trio Dances to an array of serious injuries, these couples have risen above some of the most difficult obstacles in DWTS history, including the never-before-done Dance Duel. So it's going to be harder than ever to watch not one, but two(!!!) couples face elimination during tonight's results show. But who's at the greatest risk?
We already know where they currently reside on the leaderboard, but if it's just a case of getting rid of the bottom two, then that means Katherine Jenkins has danced her last dance. This can't happen. Are you listening, America? Don't take away your sweetheart! I'm willing to say goodbye to Melissa Gilbert since she's been scraping at the bottom of the scoreboard for weeks now, but this is not a fate that Katherine deserves.
Then we've got William Levy, who received the second perfect score of the season (I think it's safe to assume we'll see him next week). Maria Menounos and Donald Driver who have kept a steady pace throughout the season, but will their votes be enough to earn them a spot in the semi-finals?
And then there's Roshon Fegan, who has seen more than his fair share of Dance Duels and bottom twos. Will coming in second place guarantee him a stress-free night of results (for once)? As much as I love the guy, I feel his fan base just isn't strong enough — if only his dear grannies got the final say. I fear Roshon and Melissa's dancing days have now come to an end. But given the fact that I don't want any of them to go home at this point, I'm not going to be happy with pretty much any outcome.
But whether I like it or not, two couples will be asked to hang up their dancing shoes by the night's end. The only looming question that remains is — who will it be? You know where I stand. Sound off on your own guesses in the comments below and check back here later tonight to find out which two got the ax.
