Chloe Sevigny Is an Awesome Transgender Assassin in 'Hit & Miss' Trailer

There is only one bad part of the new trailer for Hit & Miss: I don't have DirecTV so I have no clue how I am going to watch this show! It stars Big Love sisterwife Chloë Sevigny as Mia, a transgender assassin. That alone sounds like it would make for a great drama, but she also has to raise the children she fathered with her ex-wife now that the children's mother passed away. Now they have a whole new mother, and a whole world of confusion, which you may or may not have as well. (So, she was a man, fathered some children, divorced their mother, and now lives as a woman who kills people for the mob. Got it?)

Of course this is a British show (if you couldn't tell by the accents, and Connecticut-born Sevigny's is gorgeous) because there is no way that any American station would dream of funding this project, even on the edgier cable channels. Since this was dreamed up by Shameless and State of Play creator Paul Abbott, it certainly has a gold-plated pedigree. Now I have to figure out how soon I can order DirecTV so that I can watch this show when it starts July 11 and not wait for the American version which some network will find a way to completely ruin.
