TV Tidbits: Spike Lee's Michael Jackson Doc Eyes Thanksgiving Premiere

Michael JacksonTurkey, stuffing and Michael Jackson: Oft-controversial filmmaker Spike Lee's documentary about oft-controversial singing legend Michael Jackson has found its premiere date. ABC announced today that the network had acquired rights to Bad 25, the MJ-centric doc that explores the 25th anniversary of the famous album and tour, and will air "a version" of the movie around Thanksgiving. Body of Proof: Former 24 buried-alive victim Annie Wersching (who played Renee Walker in the final two seasons of the series) will join ABC's procedural as a nurse in at least two hushed episodes that will open the third season. Her nurse will have a level of mystery, though, which will be addressed in the high-stakes two-part season opener. [TVLine]

Suits: Accidentally on Purpose star Jon Foster is set to join USA's lawyer hit in the second episode of the second half of the second season (which airs in January 2013). Foster plays a Wall Street-bound social media expert whose sudden backing out prompts Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to raise an eyebrow. [THR]

The Amazing Race: The Eye has announced the full cast for the upcoming 21st season of its globetrotting reality staple. Among the new cast members? A double amputee snowboarder, a lumberjack, a heavy metal rocker, married monster truck drivers, Chippendales dancers and the stars of The Fabulous Beekman Boys. [CBS]
