Sarah Palin is leaving Fox News and will no longer serve as a contributor.
Fox News announced Friday it is parting ways with the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate/former Alaska governor.
Bill Shine, executive vice president at Fox News, said the network has enjoyed its association with Palin and wishes her the best.
Now that Palin won't be gracing our TV's on a normal basis anymore, what does that mean pop-culturally speaking? Have we lost the chance to see any more guest appearances by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live (doubt it)? Will the Palin family debut another reality show (probably)? Or will the "you betcha!" winking "political" figure finally fade from the pop culture universe? Here's hoping!
