Fred Thompson is set to return to acting after a failed bid to become the next president.
The former Law & Order star dropped out of the race for the White House in January after a string of defeats, and now he has signed with Hollywood power company the William Morris Agency.
It is not known what roles the former Tennessee senator is currently being considered for.
