The Big Bang Theory

CBS is keeping some old friends on their roster for this coming season — the top rated network has announced 18 renewals for the 2013-'14 television season, with a handful of no-brainers and a few surprises making the cut. At the top of the list is Thursday night comedy The Big Bang Theory, a ratings giant, brought back for a seventh season. Another CBS mainstay, Survivor, has also been slated for a return, marking its 27th turn on air.
