TLC's Welcome to Myrtle Manor residents prepare for a beauty pageant

A little glitz is heading to Myrtle Manor trailer park this weekend when the residents band together for a very special beauty pageant on Sunday's episode of the TLC reality show Welcome to Myrtle Manor.

Hollywood.com has an exclusive clip from the episode, showing how the gang prepares for the first-ever Miss Myrtle Pageant. Turns out, although Roy is hosting the competition (as his drag queen persona Mitzy Royal), he's enlisted the help of an unlikely ally in teaching the contestants the dos and don'ts of walking like a real beauty queen.

Bandit — that's right, the shaggy-haired jingle writer who now lives in a deluxe doublewide — used to model. "I was a calendar model back in 1979," he reveals. "When I was in my younger years, I had clean cut, shorter hair."

Oh really? "As a model looking at the time on my wrist would be one of my signature poses," he shares. His advice for the pageant walk is spot on, though: "don't have a strut, just walk nonchalantly."

But his fellow Myrtle Manor residents are still skeptical. "He cuts his hair with toenail clippers!"

Check out the clip below. Welcome to Myrtle Manor airs Sunday nights at 10 PM on TLC.
