In a bit of absolutely perfect casting, William Shatner will play the title character in an upcoming, aptly titled sitcom called Shit My Dad Says. (Unfortunately, that probably won't be the final title.)
The show is based on the Twitter sensation of the same name, featuring the random, often non-PG-rated (and non-P.C.) musings of creator Justin Halpern’s 73-year-old father.
Halpern co-wrote the script and will executive produce the series for CBS.
Star Trek legend Shatner’s last series, Boston Legal, wrapped up in December 2008 after five seasons.
