Maybe Glee’s success is Fox’s good luck charm, because they’ve got another successful comedy on their hands for once. Raising Hope, which follows the super-mega hit on Tuesday nights, is getting a second season. Creator Gregory Garcia blends some of the hokey magic that worked for so many seasons on My Name is Earl with the fixings for a dysfunctional but ultimately lovable family on the Fox show.
Raising Hope will continue on in its post-Glee spot – it can’t hurt to follow one of the most-watched shows out there, can it? Call it luck or pure genius, but the family comedy is pulling in the numbers – it’s reportedly the number one new show this season (for viewers under 35). Pat yourself on the back guys, you did it.
