We all knew it was just a matter of time until Gwyneth Paltrow's Holly Holiday would return to Glee to lock lips with Will Schuester. Come on, you saw they way they sang together during "Umbrella" last time she was on the show. This time, the folks at Glee are going to make it happen for real, and to mark the occasion, Holly and Schue will sing Prince's "Kiss" together.
Now, you may not know this, but it's usually kind of a pain in the ass to get licensing for Prince's music, but even he lifted the red tape for the royal Gleeks. (Are you seeing this, Kings of Leon?) As should be the case when you're dealing with anything related to Prince, things are going to get a little steamy. Holly is returning to William McKinley as a substitute Sex Ed teacher and this little duet is supposed to get a little sexy. I can already hear the groans of fans who want desperately for Schue and Emma to get it on. Guys. I understand. Will and Emma are the Ross and Rachel of Glee. It's cool. However, at the moment, Emma happens to be in wedded bliss with John Stamos' Carl the dentist; can we give Will a break from chasing a married woman and let him have a little fun with the kooky sub? I say yes. Let him have his fun. He needs to loosen up anyway.
Gwyneth's return to Glee airs March 8 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
