Last night's elimination on Dancing with the Stars was between Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas and Sugar Ray and Anna Trebunskaya. Unfortunately for Sugar Ray, he was sent home after Monday's fairly boring Viennese Waltz (even though it did show improvement). After learning his dancing days were over, Sugar Ray told Brooke Burke that he was surprised to be leaving the competition, and said "But that's life, I put up a good fight. I would cherish this moment, great friends, great people, great show." When asked what his favorite part of the show was, he said "I love the spirit of the show, I love the people of the show, and I love what the show means and represents and what the show stands for." His graceful departure continued when he spoke to reporters after the taping. He explained, "Being a fighter, there's a part of me that's screaming. No question about it. I'm screaming inside. But I'm also a gracious loser, if you will. I've had the most phenomenal experience ever with a show that I was totally afraid of. I've met friends, met an incredibly staff and a wonderful lady who taught me what I thought I couldn't be taught...I progressed. I was getting better."
